Hi! I am Francis Secada. I'm an Organizational Management consultant who helps clients achieve success through optimization. My focus is on leveraging technologies to streamline existing processes and procedures. By doing so, procedural steps can be leaned out and areas for automation can be identified. From there, clients can then scale their operations to increase their reach and better serve their customers.

I am a senior software engineer with extensive experience using Python and JavaScript. I entered the software world after spending years as a consultant and contractor within the non-profit space. My focus was on promoting efficiencies and identifying process overflows that led to bottlenecks within teams and across institutions, using a program evaluation framework that promoted a holistic perspective towards efficiency consulting. The unfortunate reality I encountered was that bridging analysis and praxis for change was the greatest obstacle for overcoming barriers to success. However, this resulted in my determining that changing habits and tools was the most effective entry point for promoting change, which led to my viewing Software as a Service options as the most effective solution set for getting my clients to meet their needs. Given that the non-profit space often lacks the means to perform market research and has the financial means to secure enterprise-level solutions, this led me towards creating and executing those software options myself. And thus came my foray into software engineering.

I have spent years in the social services space before working to obtain my Master of Public Administration degree from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at CUNY Baruch College. I consulted for a variety of non-profit and small-to-medium business clients before securing full-time contracting work in Python development. I have worked in the cyber security, aeronautics, and health data spaces, and I specialize in bootstrapping and developing web applications across a variety of frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI. I also leverage numerous technologies across fields of Natural Language Processing, Data Analysis, and big data querying to build consumable services.

I am a multi-discipline specialist that is primarily focused on helping clients to achieve their goals in the most effective and efficient means possible. I promote open dialogue and discourse to facilitate clarity of mission and transparency with understanding the end goal and respective objectives needed to achieve them.
